Set in a 19th-century palace in Lisbon, previously restored with a minimalist contemporary architectural approach, this residence was transformed through an interior architecture and decoration project by Cristina Jorge de Carvalho’s atelier.
This interior architecture and design project was guided by the client’s wish to give the home a more classical and timeless feel. While honouring the original architectural design, carefully chosen classical details were introduced to enrich the character of the space.
The front door colour inspired the overall palette and is subtly echoed in architectural and decorative elements throughout the house, creating a sense of continuity and balance.
Much of the furniture and the rugs were custom-designed by the atelier, ensuring a cohesive and considered approach where architecture and decoration come together effortlessly.
