In a privileged seafront location, Atelier Nunes da Silva has reinterpreted a 1960s villa, de-characterised by successive alterations, into a contemporary architecture project.
Designed to meet the demands of modern life, the new configuration of the interiors defines fluid patterns of movement and explores light as a primordial experience. The large glazed surfaces blur the division between house and garden, creating a feeling of proximity to the outdoors, without neglecting comfort," says Cristina Jorge de Carvalho, responsible for the interior design project.
